Starter keeps running after engine is turned off, briggs stratton riding mower 422707,?
I took over the repair and replacment of the starter motor for a briggs stratton 422707, but, when I turn off the mower, the starter keeps going. Is there a wire from the ignition that is suppose to connect to the starter as well as the main red cable
The main red cable is the only wire to the starter. I think that you will find that the soleniod is bad and sticking. You can check the ignition switch by putting it in the start position, starter unhooked, and see if you get 12volts when in start and
