I have a 292 Hirth engine, the piston has the numbers 74L44 and R021M printed inside the skirt,what are these?

I have a 292 Hirth engine, the piston has the numbers 74L44 and R021M printed inside the skirt,what are these numbers suppose to mean? Would the number 71144 and R011 be the same?
