Why aren't Stirling engines used in cars to recharge batteries?
i don't know much about stirling engines, but it seems like they could be used to increase efficiency in air conditioners and refrigerators, but i might be naive about the actually power output of stirling engines. do they break down easily? are they
Because they have alternators.
If stirling engines were more efficient... we'd use them.
