Engine - Low revs - No power?

Iv got a 1991 Toyota Levin and just suddenly the other day I was driving along and sudden loss of power. When you accelerate it is really slow getting up to 3000rpm then doesnt really go over that. The engine light is constantly on and it idles very low..

Sounds like it may have something to do with your air/fuel mixture. If they took off the catalytic converter it's possible it has to do with your O2 sensor which tells the engine how rich/lean it's running. Might want to look into them, and I know for

Hybrid cars have become a household name in all developed countries of the world. Hybrid car technology has been worked upon since early twentieth century. Toyota motors launched the first commercial hybrid car called Prius in 1997. The world saw in hybrid technology a saviour, who would save our environment from the devastating carbon emissions from the automobiles. Hybrid cars are basically half battery-electric and half conventional cars. The hybrid vehicles use temporary energy storage device, usually a battery, which enables the main engine to operate at close to its maximum efficiency. They have two motors to power the vehicle. One is an electric generator which is powered by a large battery pack and the other is a gas engine which is powered by gasoline. The gasoline engine is usually smaller than average car ones which allows the electric generator to make up for the energy. In mild hybrid cars, like the Honda cars, both the electric motor and petrol engine provide power to the car simultaneously. The petrol engine and regenerative braking charge the batteries. Mild hybrid cars cannot run on one power source only. So if the car runs out of fuel, the electric motor will not help in getting the car to a fuel pump station. Hybrid cars cost more initially then conventional cars. Also, there maybe a long waiting period before the car is delivered. Hybrid cars have smaller petrol engines and do consume less fuel than equivalent conventional cars. A hybrid car can cut down fuel costs by 20 to 70 percent. The fuel saving depends on driving habits and conditions that the car is driven in. Hybrid cars are made using lightweight body parts to compensate for the weight of the battery packs. Hybrid cars emit lesser emissions than conventional cars and are taxed less too. Another myth associated with hybrid cars is that they need specially trained mechanics and their parts are more expensive.
